As part of the due diligence that was needed to acquire a large cable television system in South America, we reviewed the functional and technical capabilities of that cable operator’s in-house customer care and billing application to determine whether or not the financial and operating data that it reported was reliable. We also reviewed the functional robustness of the application to determine whether or not the client needed to implement a different one.
